Tile should NOT be coated with anything. It's nonporous to begin with. Creating a shiny slippery surface in the kitchen is unsafe, and creates maintenance where none is needed.

Could be time for a new floor-ceramic tile once worn cannot be refinished. Porcelain can but it is a very expensive process. May be cheaper to replace.
Send a picture of the floor-there is some restorative compounds that will make the surface look better is it isn't in too bad of shape

Never heard of floor tile having a clear coat on them. Please post photos before and after if you have them.
