Looking for a flat screen tv to mount?

I am looking for a small flat screen tv to mount. the brand Coby makes one that seems to be a good size but it has a DVD attached. (CobyTFDVD1595). I was wondering if the DVD makes it not flat in the back? Will it stick out to much.
If anyone has a tv in their kitchen like this please advise?

Samsung makes some of the thinnest units on the market and they hang on a wire system called ultra slim that is absolutely the thinnest mount on the market.

They cost more than a no name brand like Coby, a lot more. There is usually a tradeoff in sound quality too, as thin doesn't make for a very good audio speaker.
