Undermount sink

I have a 20 year old ceramic tiled counter in my kitchen. I plan to replace it with granite and an undermount stainless sink. I'm going shopping after Easter is over.
My concern is, what holds up the sink. They don't simply glue it to the underside of the granite do they?

My sink has a mounting bracket on both sides that attaches to the cabinet.

They put a bead of silicone caulk around the sink then raised it into place and secured it with the mounting bracket.

Have your sink installed with a HUSH. I've see all the others; it's the best.

Trebuchet, can that sink harness be added later, after the remodel? If so, is it the granite installer who would be contacted for the install? Thanks for the information. Wish I had known about it earlier.
