I know my mom has one for hers but it was put in with her cabinet company. Sorry, I don't know the name. She doesn't remember either.

I don't know of one that fits the PRO series, I've been doing this for 20 + years.

Mustbnuts - I'd be VERY interested to know which lift mechanism is working for you mom with the PRO mixer! Got any pics of the lift?

OK - I must not be understanding this correctly. If the problem is that the mixer is too tall, can't you just install the lift a bit lower in the cabinet, or don't the lifts work like that?

If the weight of the mixer is a problem, Rev-a-shelf has a heavy duty chrome mixer lift (see link below). Will this work with the Pro model mixer?

Please help me understand the problem, as I am getting a lift for my mixer, which at the moment is a very old Kitchen Aid. I'm hoping to replace it in the near future, perhaps with a pro model.

If you put it in lower, then the platform will NOT be level with the counter, once it's lifted up.

(that might not be such a bad thing; it'd be easier to see inside it)

That is, if it CAN be installed lower. I know there's space under it inside the cabinet, usually; I don't know if the brackets are sized to make that impossible.

I am also looking at installing the kitchenaid proline mixer with a lift. I am looking at the Rev-a-shelf specs which are not at all clear, but it looks as though I will need to install the lift lower inside the cabinet. The Rev-a-shelf heavy duty specs shows a picture of the lift installed at a regular height with a KA pro displayed on it in the up position. The lift needs some clearance at the bottom because it actually lowers through an arc before it lifts. It shows the arc lowering 1 7/8" before starting to arc up. Also looks like it will need even more space below for the mechanism. Rev-a-shelf states 4 3/8" as the lowest point. I'm still not clear that this will for sure work. I will keep seeing if I can figure out this drawing, but if someone has done this and has experience please help us!
