Hi! I'm doing mostly butcher block countertops but ceramic tile countertops around the sink area. My contractor is worried about the seam where the wood counter will meet the tile counter b/c the wood will contract and swell while the tile remains fixed. He wants to leave enough space for the movement of the wood but somehow cover up this gap.

Any suggestions or solutions really welcome!
