We are meeting with our KD tomorrow and one thing we will discuss will be countertop materials. I am staying as eco-friendly as our budget allows. Right now I am leaning towards reclaimed timber. Cabinets will be off white-simple design. I love ice stone, vertrazzo and ribbon glass, but I am finding them rather pricey. Granite and ceased stone are also nice but I do not like the possible radon issue. We just put in a radon reduction system and so introducing radon does not make any sense. What other suggestions does anyone have? Floors will be cork.
