Have you seen counter stools like this --wood & metal?

I'm looking for this in counter height 24-26 inches. This one is cost plus world market but only comes in chair height.

Here's RH's all metal version.

I've always liked this WE metal and wood stool, although it's not as industrial as the one from WM.

Oops. Never mind about the WE stool. The only color left is the red version. Not what you're going for, I think.

That is so cool!

Alex,

Please don't buy them all, leave 2 for me! :-)

Some other places to look in case you don't find the exact right height:

We have the Wisteria wood and metal counter stool. Love it! Surprisingly comfortable to boot. Got them on sale.

Has anyone actually sat in the RH Remy backless chairs and could report on comfort.

Thanks@about for another similar option--though much more modern in the legs. Glad to hear they're comfy.

This one looks similar and comes in various heights. I have not seen it in real life, only online.

I find backless stools, in general, to be uncomfortable. Those Remy stools hurt my butt after sitting on one for only a couple of minutes. But I found most of the RH stools to be more for looks than comfort.

Are there still people in the US who can "fit" on a 12.5"x12.5" stool?

Just kidding!

What about the RH Remy with the back. More comfortable?

The Remy with the back was more comfortable for my back, but not for me bum. :)

Saw this today while searching for my kitchen remodel. Looks like they are counter height.

Here is one from Ballard Designs that has a similar feel...it also comes in a version with a back rest.

Thanks everyone! @Breezy, we got the Remy stools and they are great. Third set (I mean time) is the charm. Pics to come.
