Can you post photos of the stones?

I have absolute cream in entire kitchen...love it! It's a beautiful stone and every time I look at it I see something different. I'm not sure how Volga blue would look with it. My absolute cream is a "busier" stone, with shades of cream, gold, brown, black, gray from quartz deposits, burgundy flecks, and also areas of light peach. I see many areas of shiny black mica and shiny cream/ivory mica. It sounds like one hot mess when I describe it, but it is gorgeous. Needless to say, it is the star of my kitchen. I googled Volga blue. Beautiful. Personally, I wouldn't pair the two. I think Volga blue has too much variation in color, and needs to be its own 'star'. Maybe your absolute cream is not as busy as mine; maybe your Volga blue doesn't look like what I googled. If you posted some pics it would be easier to tell. I am picture-posting challenged. I followed the directions and still cant do it. I will bribe my daughter to help me, and will show you my absolute cream.

I'm thinking about espresso cabs. which company did you chose? is it a stain?

I'm actually considering a brown tone for countertop and island and I'm also building a table and I think the granite was absolute creme. I hate to add my additional question here... I'm wondering if anyone has seen brown countertop with expresso cabs.

My mother-in-law has espresso glaze on her cabinets and a dark brown granite - it looks great.

suzannes, I have a Mac too. (laptop) If you have a macbook, you press 2 fingers on the touchpad, it's the right click. :o I taught my son that. And since that generation was born with a technology gene, I find it impressive that I showed HIM something. lol

Here are a few photos of my Absolute Cream granite. The kitchen is still a work in progress, but you can see how the granite looks and can try to imagine your Volga blue with it.

Actually there are two variations of volga blue and I am looking at "Volga Blue extra" which is darker version and less flecks. Here are some links to these gorgeous stones.

Priya, the refrig is an LG, which I purchased on Black Friday 2010. I could get a model number for you, but the guys at Best Buy told me that appliance manufacturers put out BF specials then discontinue them afterwards, and sometimes bring them back the following holiday season. Sounds crazy to me, but we really like the fridge.
