I have 3 glass canisters on my counter. One has real looking fake lemons, one has dark red dried chili peppers, and one has dry split peas.

The lemon and chili peppers are doing great, but with the sunlight streaming in, the dry peas fade quickly to an anemic light tan.

I'd like to replace the peas with something else vibrant, maybe green, that won't have to be replenished.

What decorative/colorful dry goods do you like to use?
