Grout color assistance for backsplash

Hi,

I've got to pick up the grout tonight for installation in the AM. I've got Alpine White granite (a misnomer, it's not really white at all, definitely creams and ivories) with natural maple cabinets. The backsplash is a white (with slight cream hints) marble subway tile 2x4". I'm thinking the grout should be more white/cream so as not to distract from the granite. Would love to hear your thoughts and recommendations.

I'll post a second picture as well.

I would go with the most predominate shade in the backsplash. Google "marble subway tile backsplash." That seems to be the direction most of them have gone. My SIL has marble subway tile b/s and her grout matches the tiles almost exactly.

Yes, I would try to match the tile as closely as possible.

You could get your installer to take a few tiles & do a grouted sample. My tile guy made 3 different samples of different shades of white. It only took him 10-15 min.
Please post some pics for us when your backsplash is in.

If the tile has yet to be installed you have at least 24 h more to make a grout choice. Ditto match the grout to the tile.

I went with avalanche. It's white and looks perfect with the Carrara white subway tiles. Thank you all for confirming!

Romy 718 I will post pics...It's been two months and many, many bottles of wine, but I'm almost at the finish line. I'm so glad i stumbled onto this site, everyone has been so helpful.
