wall color with oak cabinets

Need help please with picking a paint color to go with oak cabinets. someone suggested BM Georgian green but unsure if thats too springy looking. I am not good with picking paint colors! I can do the work of remodel but the selection of color - gets me every time!

I just painted my kitchen BM Putnam Ivory. I think it looks great with my oak cabinets.

There are several blog posts on this subject. Neutral is best but I've also seen a post where they use a charcoal color and looks great. I would probably stay away from any color which will make the cabinets more colorful.

I suggest finding a color in your counter or floor that is neutral.
