not sure on pattern name

There's no actual name for the pattern. It would be easy enough to do with some brands of tile.

It's 2x2, 2x4 and 2x6 (assuming 18" above counter) tiles laid in a random running bond pattern. Just select whatever size tile you need to avoid aligned grout lines.

I think it is a lovely kitchen. The combination of cabinet color, countertop and tile is right up my alley.
I am not sure the tile has a pattern. I see three sizes of subways, which I would guess are 3x3, 3x5, 3x8 because the two smaller tiles do equal the largest in length. When I look at the rows though, they do not seem to be laid in any consistent order, I think they just never allowed a joint to align. I could be missing a pattern though. Is there a desginer credited- you could email them.

Thanks. I really like the look. No designer credit for the kitchen, just credit given for bar stools, pendantsand the egg crates. It's an older home in Portland. Sure like the look though!

That's a very interesting backsplash! Even with so much pattern, I think it really complements the stone because it is laid naturally like a stone wall. I don't think you get the same effect with perfect machine made tiles of random sizes although a handcrafted tile might work. Try contacting the publisher for the designer's name if you are looking for the products used.
