Cost effective kitchen/bath cabinets for a rental

Posted by kaismom (My Page) on

We are buying a rental house that needs to have the kitchen and 2.5 baths redone. I will be putting in new cabinets.

What are some cost effectice cabinet brands out there other than Ikea?

I am also looking at the cabinets from Costco.

I prefer frameless since the kitchen is small and I would like to maximize effective storage.

If you have worked with Ikea installer in the Seattle area, does anyone have recommendations?

I got estimates for a rental kitchen, both from Costco and IKEA. IKEA was quite a bit less.

I forgot: IKEA bathroom cabinets and faucets are quite different form the regular US cabinets/faucets, so better make sure to take an installer/plumber who's familiar with them.

You can still get budget cabinets that will be fine for a rental at the big box stores.

(These also come in wood colors.)
