Appliances?: Thermador/Viking/Monogram

Common question, I am sure. But looking for specific recent experiences. One problem is that these brands change over the years, so it is tough to gauge real experiences.

We are gutting the kitchen. Still in early design phase. Appliances will be fridge, range, vent hood, and microwave. (reusing our brand new Kitchen Aid dishwasher, which we love).

Option 1 (Monogram):
ZICP360NXLH - Fridge
ZE2160SF - Microwave
ZDP366NPSS - 36 dual fuel 6 burner range
ZV36TSFSS - chimney hood
Looks like it would be about $19,500 after rebates

Like the look and general functionality. Questions about quality, but see that CR just gave it all a high rating. Lacking snob factor.

Option 2 (Thermador):
T36BT820NS - fridge
MD24JS - Microwave drawer (love this)
PRD366GHU - 36 dual fuel 6 burner range
HPWB36FS - hood
Looks like it would be about $17,000 after rebates

Have 25 year old Thermador now that is still going strong, but dated looking. See lots of horror stories about the brand now. Getting scared away.

Option 3 (Viking)
VCFF236 - Fridge
VMOD241 - Microwave drawer (again, love the drawer concept)
VDSC536T - 36" dual fuel 6 burner range
VCWH3648 + DEV1200 - hood with exterior fan
Looks like it would be about $15,500 after rebates

Always coveted Viking appliances but am concerned about quality issues. Love the commercial look and the exterior fan on the hood seems like a big plus.

I want to avoid mixing and matching appliances.
