No. They are lucky you didn't insist on a top mount. They eat it all.

Doesn't a top mount sit on a granite lip? Is there any lip left at all where they did the cut out? How in the world did they make that mistake, I wonder? Didn't they have the sink model (or the actual sink) when they did the templating?

jellytoast-they had the actual sink but it is a blanco silgranite that can be under mount or top mount. according to silgranite the sink base needs to be 36" for the undermount and mine is 33" which is the required top mount dimension. someone assumed it was undermount even though the quote i signed had no cutout fee. as far as the lip, i don't know what you mean so i can't answer. i am not sure how it works as i had laminate prior to this

ardcp, since you seem to be leaning towards accepting the undermount (as I gather from your other thread), why not call them to inquire about what can be done about the negative reveal? Getting at least one thing that you want might make you feel a lot better.
