I'd never heard of aqua grantique either, but I googled it and it's lovely. It reminds me of my quartzite, which is called Ocean Stone where I live, and Ocean Green in some other places. You may want to google those (with "Gardenweb.com") to see mine and mamadadapaige's first kitchen. My quartzite is bulletproof and reminiscent of soapstone. Sorry I can't help with sourcing, but maybe having other names to look for will help.

The Aqua Grantique is quarried by Krukowski Stone in Central WI we have many dealers throughout the US if you would like more information on it please let me know.

I have seen aqua grantique in Krukowski's showroom. It's really beautiful. Have a sample: it's bulletproof. (Actually a schist, I was told.) Too expensive and too dark so I had to pass. (Winters are very long & the days really short here in Wisconsin.)
