The glaze changes the base color. So, even if you color match, there is no real way to make a multi stage layered paint match a single color. Because it's not a single color. And no paint you buy will be as durable as the catalyzed lacquer.

What about the back of the door? Do they apply a glaze to it as well? I am thinking about matching that color and then applying a glaze. I would probably have to do multiple tests. I would then spray it with conversion varnish.

My other option would be just to match the base plus glaze on the fronts and then put a top coat of conversion varnish.
