Thanks for the lead.

I know people that have oil rubbed bronze Rohl drainer to match faucet and it chips all the time. I was talked out of Rohl oil rubbed bronze drainer by my Salesperson. I thought she was crazy telling me to get the stainless steel but then I went to my friends house and saw first hand how the chipping looked. I have the stainless steel drain board over it so you don't even notice it.

Actually I think it was polished chrome not stainless steel.

I have learned that all drains or disposal flanges that are plated will fail. The exception is chrome. There is apparently no finish that will withstand the rigors of a kitchen sink. It is sad that they do not tell you that when you buy one. I have a copper sink nd got a solid copper drain, so there is no worry about plating wearing off.

We bought the ORB that Home Depot had in stock. Only a year old, but it looks great and no issues...
I don't think it was totally installed yet, on the left side.
