I did a big search on that recently, and these are the few links that were most useful to me. But I am not really planning a DIY, so they may be more for ideas. There was a fantastic recent thread with pics from the piano-hinge person and maybe a pic from buehl? Ours is below the cooktop, next to the drawer stack by the wall oven. Though if your's will be above your head, a sliding shelf prolly isn't too useful!
