I'll have white shaker cabinets and one of these two mixed wood/random width floors. Caalcatta marble counter tops. I had originally thought I'd have a stained wood island to provide some contrast with my white cabinets. What do you think? If i go with a stained island what color/type of wood should it be? Even though the floor is rustic I am not really going for a rustic look in the kitchen overall. Thank you!
