Fissure or crack in granite counter

I recently had granite counters installed (white ice). I noticed 2 cracks by the sink that the installer tried to fill with black and white epoxy. He tried to tell me they are fissures and not cracks. Can anyone tell me the difference and if it is a crack?

I would say a crack, why would they cut a sink hole by a fissure like that in the first place? Not good.

Your installer broke your top and did a poor repair. Crack/fissure doesn't really matter, however, your satisfaction does.

Is it broken in the front as well? This is inexcusable these days with the transport technology available.

Hopefully, you're sitting on final payment.
