THis is my first time writing, a lurker for a awhile, but ieed your help!! We updated our honey oak cabinets with giallo fiorito granite and stainless fixtures. we did a 4 in granite backsplash, not thinkiing we were going to do a full backsplash. well now we do, to complete the look. I love the look of a stone/stainless, and glass backsplash but am afraid that it will be too busy. my husband loves the look of travertine, either subway or at an angle. we have a traditional 30 in stove and there is not much clearance from top of stove to bottom of cabinet. i thought about putting a different design or stone or the stone/glass/stainless combo sheets behind the stove only and just have simple travertine everywhere else.
i am so overwhlemed!! any ideas? do you think go simple oor go with the glass& stone combo?
