I had my heart set on Super White. It's the only I've seen that I really liked. But I don't want to be "the counter police" (stolen from earlier thread!)

I find that I'm also drawn to soapstone. I like it a certain way though...not too dark/oiled looking but not too marked up either. Is there a way to get that perfect balance? I'm drawn to the long veins as well

I have spent SO much time researching granite, quartz, quartzite and marble, but I really don't know too much about soapstone. Can you share the good, the bad and the ugly?

I have 2 young kids. I'm looking for something we can live with and not worry about! Cabinets are white inset shaker style
