I like getting ideas for low budget remodels because I may be doing this as an interim solution. Unfortunately, the link seemed to only include paint-it-white. Ugh! While many white kitchens are beautiful, I suffered through white overload for decades living in rentals. Painting the cabinets white cannot be the only solution. I actually prefer the before in the third kitchen example.

That third kitchen is blindingly white to me too. The white ones on this site are more subtle and beautiful...

I like the white cabinets in the third kitchen better with the floor. Before it looked wrong to me. But, I would have had more color in the kitchen overall to balance the floor and cabs. Like, the blue in kitchen #4, or even gray on the walls.

I think I liked the before cabinets in the first and third too. The answer for everything seems to be 'paint it white!' It reminds me of Portlandia and their Put a Bird on It! sketch.

I agree, that honey oak refresh is nice. Good ideas in there. My kitchen cabinets have different problems, but we got some oak cabinets from a Lowes clearance event. We put some in the laundry area in the garage and a bonus room. (The laundry has nicer cabinets than my kitchen now). I miss having a real laundry room, but these ideas would work to dress them up that visible garage corner.
