Are these countertop prices good?

We need two slabs for a galley kitchen. No cutouts on one fo the slabs. Cutout for sink on the other. Basic roundover edge...nothing fancy. Edges included as sq ft. below. We are in Pittsburgh, PA. Thanks.

I get 35.75 square feet, which is 17-odd running feet of counter. This seems ballpark to me.

I'm in the Chicago suburbs and those sound similar to prices I was quoted. Except the Cambria and Zodiaq prices were reversed, with Cambria being more expensive.

Plinko, we are in Pittsburgh too!
HD is having a sale until Wed. on corian, silestone and granite. I have the prices for silestone and granite, but not for the materials that you name. The sale includes a "free upgrade", for ex. if you choose a material in group C it becomes a B, minus 10 % and free edge. We thought it was quite good. I went to the fabricator to see the slabs today. i am still agonizing over the choices, though.

It is continental surfaces in Monroeville, 614 beatty RD.
If HD makes you wait for the appointment, just stop by, HD made it
seem it was more difficult than it actually was. I am going back tomorrow with a friend.

In Louisville Cambria is $72 sq. ft. and all edges are included free.

went to fabricator thur an picked out tobacco coffee at 92 sq ft. simlpe install ie 8ft with sink cutout, another 1 ft piece on small base cab and 3.5 sq ft on another base cab. fabricator would not give installed price said kitchen installer would give quote. he called today. $180 per sq ft which incl ogee edge. additional 3.50 sq ft for sealer.

100% mark-up for a simple install?? makes me wonder if they are pushing it.

I live outside of Pittsburgh, elegant brown granite at a whopping $167.00 a square foot, beveled edge, sealer included.

Why the sealer is not included in your price, I don't know.

Won't advertise for fabricator / installer, but starts with Manor:)

Pgh people did you all end up going with HD? That is who I am leaning towards right now but have heard not so great things on Continental (installer) timeframe to install...Any other better prices out there than HD? I am thinking of Silestone for sure. Really like Zodiac color at Lowes but their sale is not near as good...HD starts a good one on Thurs...Thanks!
