different seating heights on peninsula?

Hi! First, I took advice from this forum and ditched the idea of a downdraft in my peninsula (and convinced my husband it was good idea!) We are also ditching pass through and putting one wide opening in the wall between living room/dining room and kitchen. The arched opening will start 29 1/2 inches from the wall and the peninsula will extend from kitchen to living room with 15 inch overhang.
Here's the dilemma:
On the living room side is a brand new window that sits below counter height. I do not want to replace the window. Do I just end the peninsula at the arched opening (leaving 29 1/2 inches of blank wall next to window) or lower the height of peninsula to desk height, for a little computer/homework area that will extend underneath the window and face the blank wall?
I can't find any pictures of the second but I like the idea in theory. Thoughts?

Here's a rough sketch of the kitchen--but ignore the word passthrough--the bar will extend the 9 inches to where the 34" inch opening begins, along these lines:

Then the question is how it would look to lower the breakfast bar to desk height on the living room side, facing the wall between kitchen and living room and with window on the person's right.

If your breakfast bar is lower than the countertop, it may be difficult to serve onto it from the kitchen side. You have 24" to reach over and then a drop-down.

I think you will have problems opening your DW door with it being so tight to the cabinet/drawer handles on the peninsula.

The two cabinets at the end of the sink wall, may be awkward to reach into from the corners. Why not make corner cabinets there and carry them onto the sink wall?

Your fridge is sort of "out of the kitchen". This may sound odd, but can the doorway to the room on the left of the plan be moved to where your fridge is and put your fridge on the range wall.
