I'm so excited to be in the trenches of this entire house remodel and feeling like we're in the home stretch....

But, now I'm second guessing EVERYTHING!

Questions:

1) Has this happen to you?

2) Based on our floor stain (red oak with 50/50 provincial and medium brown blend stain), would you still have your island stained the color shown (or darker) or would you do it in the same off white chosen for the perimeter cabinets? Counters will be a Kashmir White and planning to paint the walls a gray that coordinates with the counters.

The lighting makes the floors look a little more orange than they really are.....can't turn the lights off because floor guy forbade me to until the final coats are on and dry :)
