I don't have $1500 to spend on this-- I need reasonably priced subway stainless steel tiles for a backsplash. Any sources out there? Anyone used Aqua Design? Thanks.

Please define reasonably priced AND how many sq. ft. you are talking about. There is a broad difference of what people think is reasonable. SS tiles are just more expensive than ceramic and porcelain ones!

Looking at about 27 square feet. I don't want mosaics-- minimum 4 x 4 if square but prefer 3 x 6 or 6 x 12 subway.
