We bought a rev-a-shelf 2-tier stainless steel insert for our 13 inch cabinet in our island. Top shelf fits 6-7 lids and bottom shelf 6-8 pans (all 12" or less) It works very well and is much more functional than the small cabinet.

Thanks for posting MCMesprit. It looks really great. I was wondering if it is as good as it looks. So it only fits pans that are smaller than 12" diameter? I was looking at the 22" model as I have a 24" cabinet for pan storage and about 10 pans I need to store. They fit in their current location (about a 24" cabinet) pretty much in a jumble. I think a couple of my pans are larger than 12" however. So wondering about that point.

I would think the wider version would fit larger pans since the handles could go sideways (rather than vertical). We purchased our rev-a-shelf products from Ovis. They were very helpful re: answering our questions.
