I designed a sideboard with the Linear series from Room and Board. Originally planned on a wine fridge inside it and had the back designed for airflow and electrics, but never bothered to get one. Used the glass hangers and really love that piece.

This is my sideboard, but with double doors in center and singles flanking. Doesn't look like they have the stemware insert anymore :-( Actually, I think they mailed us one from another set and DH installed. I keep "nice" flatware here along with linens, liquor, wine, kids art supplies, and general chaos...

We were looking for something similar, and I liked the look of the ones at Pottery Barn (see link below); you can customize it to a certain degree to meet your needs.

We are waiting to see how much of a refund we get at tax time before we pull the trigger. :-)

This is our next home project. My husband and I drafted up plans, and he and my father will be building it in April. It probably won't be completely finished them but I'll post any pictures that we have.

Don't have an answer for you however, I can attest to the quality and great styling of the Linear series of cabinets from Room and Board. We've been loyal R and B customers for years and have the Linear series of cabinets, armoires, shelves, etc. in our family room and master bedroom. Great quality and love the style and think a sideboard in the Linear series would look wonderful in a dining room.

Thanks! If I want it to accomodate a wine fridge, do I need to get it custom made? I'm thinking of something like this, but maybe without the upper hutch part.

The coolest one that I ever saw- it looked standard and then the whole sideboard innards raised up(powered) and the liquor etc was at work level. I don't know who made it or if still available.
