Cannot say about the doors, but we have the refrigerator. We, really like it. Lots of room. and quiet. We, have a open floor plan. The only time I, hear anything is when the ice falls, if the ice tray is empty. You may hear it drop until it gets more ice in the tray. We, have owned it about a year.

We also have the refrigerator. It was delivered a few weeks ago. We also really like it so far. There are installation instructions on Kitchenaid's website that will detail the clearance that is needed. We have it adjacent to a pantry and fixed wall. There is not a filler strip next to the pantry. I believe there needed to be more space next to the fixed wall, but I am not sure.
