I new some ideas on our backsplash, I'm a nurse and by no means a designer! The granite is millenium cream, island is dark walnut and wall cabinets are cream with a brownish glaze. Our hardware is black and we will have 2 bell jar pendants over the island.     |

| The kitchen looks very nice so far! Are the rest of your furnishings traditional like this? If so, I'd suggest you start by looking at natural stone tiles or ceramic tiles. My personal preference is for a darker color that would match the tone of your base cabinet on the island. |
