I also want to add feet to my existing cabinets...and I have found these two web sites that have what are called pedestal feet.

I was going to leave my kick and put them under, but maybe that isn't right. I was going to order a pair or two and test it out.

I just had a brain freeze, my kick is recessed so that is why I am able to put the feet under, DUH!

Thanks! My toe kick is recessed, too, but even with feet it can be seen.
I plan on adding an apron to the middle that matches the feet so maybe that will help disguise the toe kick.

Haven't tried it myself yet, but we are having an entertainment center built w/ a toekick and w/ feet. It's going to be painted a cream color. Our carpenter has said that he will paint the toekick a dark color so that it will recede into the background.

What had our carpenter fabricate and install feet in front of our toe-kicks. They are the same color as the toe kick, so we think they look fine. Also, each leg arches from the floor to meet it partner at the bottom center of the cabinet...creates a small arched apron look below each cabinet. Does that make sense? What style are your cabinets?

We have Medallion cabinetry in maple with a Brandywine finish.

We took a recessed area in our kitchen and added glass in the upper cab doors and the counter is matched wood to make it look like like a Butlers Pantry area. I have matching stain and can stain the feet. Some of the feet I am looking at have a matching apron.
