My favorite backsplashes

My current 3 favorites:

1) This grey and white shimmery mosaic. It's perfect for those dark wood cabinets but would look great with white too. It adds a dreamy softness to the kitchen.

2) These shades of blue cuban cement handmade tiles

3) From here on Gardenweb, one that was perfect for the medium toned traditional wood cabinets.

It was a glass mosaic of mostly cream and white but a color in it picked up on the medium tone wood. The mosaic had shimmer but still somehow blended well with the traditional cabinets beautifully.

I saw this maybe 5 years ago here, but it imprinted in my mind.

Those are my all time favorites.

What are yours?
