5K-7K or so. Depends on the movem4nt in the slab and it's desirability. Marble isn't a budget choice.

I actually have to disagree here, but it all depends on the type of Marble you're looking for. For that sq footage, I was priced out at about $3500 for Carrera. You certainly can get much higher end than that, like Honed Danby, which I was quoted out at around $4,800. Carrara was classified as middle of the rd at most of the places I looked.

Keep in mind that these were cash prices, if paying cash you have alot of wiggle room. I also advise to shop around. I got somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 quotes for stone, all quite different and all negotiable....

Installed carrera was running about 75 per sq ft installed at Home Depot for a quote of 3600 dollars before any custom edge work. I am in MI.

I looked at a lot of stones (granites, marbles, soapstones, high end and low--I didn't care as long as it looked right) before selecting my marble. I wasn't shopping by price but the marble I ended up with was some of the cheapest stuff out there. Like absolute black cheap.

Carerra was one of the less expensive marbles in my area (although this was a few years ago). It always looks good though, doesn't it?
