I adore my 30" Blue Star range. I don't have any special features on mine but I love it.

A child broke the oven control on mine (the shaft that holds the knob on) - not sure if it was brute force on her part, or whether there was an issue with it. Blue Star was great about replacing it under warranty. They arranged for a local appliance repair company to do it, after sending them the parts. They had to replace the oven thermostat, etc. but they were really nice about it. Very pleasant to deal with over the phone. Great value for the money.

Esh - there's an appliances forum as well, and those folks are very sharp. Consider posting there as well. Blue Star and Capitol Culinarian are favorites on that forum, so my guess is you will hear good things. They despise Viking. As I said, sharp folks over there.

You should go the Appliances Forum and read what they have to say. But while you are here, I will give my thoughts. I have a 36" BS RNB with 12" charbroiler. I love this range and it has changed my attitude toward cooking. I look forward to turning the range on every time.

The burners are awesome and the oven is huge, although the ovens on the 60" would be smaller of course. Fit and finish is fine but not Wolf--the trade off for power and open burners. The charbroiler is ok, not great. I wish it were more powerful. Te power is sufficient but if I need a screaming hot grill, this is not it. People on these forums frequently diss the char broilers and say they grill outside and it is messy so why bother but for me (and it sounds like maybe for you too if you live in an apartment) outdoor grilling is not an option, so if I am going to grill, this is the only way I can do it. I don't find it hard to clean (at least my housekeeper doesn't!) so the only issue is the power. Not sure I would spend 24" on it.
