Brizo Faucet

Posted by dcwesley (My Page) on

Does anybody have experience with Brizo faucets? I am considering one with magentic dockin and pause. I would skip the touch feature as DH worries it is one more thing to break.

Here is a link that might be useful: Brizo Faucet

RE: Brizo Faucet

I have some Brizo faucets I recently installed. None have magnetic docking, so I can't comment on that. One has the touch feature, which seems to work as designed. (Note: leaving the faucet in touchless automatic IR mode, and then doing something else across the sink like oiling soapstone, may lead to a wet sleeve when one's arm passes under the faucet.)

One non-obvious "feature" of Brizo faucets (excluding the pot filler) is that they have unusual mounting hardware that may interfere with either the sink mounting (if too close to the sink edge) or the back of the cabinet if too far back. Plan ahead! If used with a maximum sized sink for a cabinet, some ravaging of the upper cabinet back may be needed for clearance.

I just installed 2 of the exact faucets in your link--talo--without the touch feature. Haven't used yet very much, but so far so good. Nice solid heavy feel--I like the magnetic docking. The pause feature seems alittle hard to use so far--have to push the button in quite firmly--almost seems easier to just reachover and turn it on and off--but the switch to stream or spray works well and they look great. No installation issues as the above poster had.
By the way--the handle only moves from vertical for cold to forward for hot--does not go back at all. The specs were actually wrong on that issue. There is no clearance issue behind the handle for a backsplash, wall or window--
HTH!!

OMG I am in love with it! It has every feature you could ask for. I was hoping to get a wall-mount so as not to have a hole in my countertop (due to it being a farm sink w/ no area to for a faucet built into the sink), and was hoping to avoid having to deal with cleaning around a deck-mounted faucet...however if I end up doing a single-hole faucet, THIS IS the perfect faucet for me based on how it looks, its functions, and the lifetime warrantee on the faucet AND the finish.

I love the picture of it (see the line of pictures in this link) with the marble backsplash which is what I'm doing - only my marble may be a tad more white and less gray (and 2x6 in size):

Now I too am wondering...

I'd like to get more feedback on the company's faucets in general...if others' faucets have proven to be trouble-free. The price is very low if it's truly great quality, it seems (?).

I have the Brizo Bello faucet (magnetic docking) and I really love it. No problem with installation as far as I know. It is heavy and of very good quality. Installed the soap dispenser as well.

Very happy with it.

Thank you all. I was hoping the handle only moved forward as I was worried how much clearance there will be behind the faucet.

The specs say "Two-button, four-function pull-down wand; spray, stream, pause and volume control "

What is "volume control"? The strngth of the stream?

RE: Brizo Faucet

We have two Brizo sink faucets, a shower valve and shower head in a bathroom and they have been great - we love them. Obviously, no magnetic docking :^)
They are very good quality and we had to get some replacement parts - the customer service was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to go with Brizo.

dcwesley--the handle only moving forward was a must for me too.
and yes--the volume control lets you decrease the strength of the stream or spray on your way to pausing it completely--

Brizo is the upscale line from Delta Faucet. I was told at one showroom that it's a good brand.

You guys will either get a kick out of this or boot me out of here (hopefully the former) but i forwarded the picture of the faucet to a friend today, for her advice, and she wrote back LOL'ing that it reminded her of something she's seen that they sell on late-night cable TV...something that's umm...okay i'll leave it at that. Ahem.

I saw this faucet in venetian bronze in a showroom. The pulldown part has a nice feel in the hand. The color had more coppery undertones than the picture depicts.
