Is Lemurian Supreme a granite or quartzite? Thanks, Peke

It's a granite. Technically it's Labradorite, which is a type of feldspar that is iridescent blue.

I thought so. The guy at the stone place said it was quartzite. So Labradorite that falls into granite category?

Any idea about staining or scratching on it? So how can I tell the difference between quartzite and granite? I also saw some slabs that I thought were marble but were not. Thanks,

Peke
