Please help, not sure where to start

Hello, everyone.

We need to completely gut our kitchen. I know now the layout of the new kitchen, but I am horrible at the color picking and color coordination. Our kitchen does not get a ton of light and we want to go with natural cherry cabinets, mostly plain with no cut-outs, or maple cabinets stained in Carmel. What is the rule for color coordination of granite/cambria to the color of cabinet. Would I need to go with dark countertop like Cambria hollinsbrook or on the contrary something very light like Cambria Bradshaw? What color back splash would you pick for ether one of the listed cambria's ? Will the tile have to,coordinate with the backsplash, or the counters? I am at a loss.

Please help.

Thank you,

If you browse through the photos on Houzz, you will begin to notice a pattern in the things you like best. Add the ones you like to your Ideabook so that the pattern becomes more obvious.

Here is a link that might be useful: Houzz- natural cherry cabinets

I am getting Cambria Bradshaw. I am so excited--I think it is lovely. Just came from the tile shop, where I picked out a travertine to go with it for the backsplash. I wanted something simple so the cambria would be the star!

Do you know your cabinet layout?
