Range hood - Miele DA 3480

We're looking at hoods to put above a 30" BlueStar RCS. The problem is that we don't have much room between where the burners will be and the bottom of the cabinet that's immediately above them (32"). As a potential workaround, we've been looking at the Miele DA 3480 (625 CFM), which is one of their in-cabinet models. Does anyone have experience with this particular hood? So far, I haven't been able to find any reviews (which is somewhat concerning).

Here is a link that might be useful: Miele DA 3480

I've been wondering about this one also.

I've had slide-out styles before and found them perfectly satisfactory with a lot of nice advantages (for example, tall spouse bangs head, hood slides back in, no pain, no blood. Very low-key when not being used allowing other things to be bold in the kitchen design.) . This model has pretty good CFM, the brand has a good reputation, and in my not-very-humble opinion, the slideout canopies work. If I decide to get this size instead of a 36" model, I don't think I'd hesitate...well, a little maybe.

In my last remodel I had the GE Monogram 36" slideout. No reviews, and no problems.

So if you find any reviews, don't be shy. DO share! :)

Thanks for the response, fori.

I guess my biggest concern, at this point, is the sound level. I can't find sone ratings anywhere on Miele's site, or anywhere else....

Setting 2: 43 dB
Setting 3: 44.7 dB
Setting 4: 46 dB
