Kitchen remodels and your stories

Hello Kitchen forum. I am planning the remodel of my kitchen, laundry, powder room and surrounding area. Please give me your stories. What were the features you included that you love. What were features that you wished you had included. What are some of the products that you used, and your critique of them. What would you do differently, and any other great advice you might have! Thank you in advance. I'll be sure to post befores and afters when the project is completed!
