An off-white or very pale blue-gray would be nice.

my neighbor has cherry cabs with blue counters-on that note you could go country-ish with a barn red. Or brown with a lot of red undertones-blue and brown look good together. guess it depends if you want darker or lighter looking cabs. I see a dark pitch setting off the space-looks like white walls and window framing. Maybe dark below counter and lighter white of some sort for wall cabs.Could you get the uppers refaced white/just paint the lowers....and save yourself some work?

I think white or warm white cabinets (maybe a cream?) would look very nice. Here are a few pictures. The blue isn't always on the counter top, but hopefully it will give you some good ideas for your kitchen :)

If you are going for a modern look, black (wenge or espresso) cabinet would go well with your blue countertop.

If you like the blue, that's one thing. But if you don't like the blue, don't feel that you have to keep it and find something to "go" with it just because it's there. It's easily and cheaply replaced with another laminate top. So, pick what color cabinets you would like, and then pick what color counters.

Many years ago we had blue counters and we gel stained a cherry color over our golden oak doors. This was quite a while before finding out about GW.

In the next house after the one shown, we had blue counters again, but did painted cabinets in a creamy white. I don't have pictures of that one, though.
