| I love white kitchens but have chosen a non-shaker style door. I'd love to see other kitchens that do not have shaker doors if you wouldn't mind sharing. I'm now second guessing my door style... Shaker is all you see when you google white kitchens! (They are lovely...just too modern looking for my taste.) |

| The code word for what you're looking for is probably 'traditional' -- |

| This is my last (almost finished) kitchen. I don't know what it is but it ain't shaker:
I saw the doors you selected--they will be lovely painted. |

| I have posted my non-shaker white kitchen so much even I am sick of it, lol! But here it is so it can be in this thread! :) I think this is the closest-up shot of the cabs. |

| My kitchen isn't finished but here are a couple pics. Still needs some trim and backsplash in these pics. They aren't real clear because they were taken with phone |

| Marcy 96, could you post more pictures of your kitchen? It looks like a similar layout to mine, and I'm looking for renovation inspirations, i.e. the opposite side? Also, do you have a peninsula? |
|
| nosoccermom: If you right click on Marcy 96 picture and open link in new tab , it will take you to her photobucket where you can see more pictures of her lovely kitchen. |

| I have white non-shaker cabinets on order so I appreciated this thread. I started feeling like I broke some secret rule by not going the shaker route. Katsmah, what is the brand/style of your cabinets BTW? They look familiar. Beautifuls kitchens! |
|
| They are Starmark beaded inset. |
|
| I'll link a white cabinet thread below with a lot of good ones. Shaker is popular (and easy to choose), but tons of people choose something else. I know what you mean, but I've never thought of it as modern. One of the first pieces of furniture my husband and I bought 20+ years ago was a TV cabinet with shaker style doors. I've always equated it with traditional New England. |
