The kitchen in my current home is a 19*11 C shape with a nice large island. I have really loved working in this shape kitchen. I would love to make this work attached to a hearth room, and with a bumped out booth seating for kids lunches/snacks. However I am having a hard time making this work (without seeming awkward) in my floorplan with the arrangements of the other rooms.
So is there a "better" kitchen shape than a C? This does seem to be the shape of most of the photos I have saved in Houzz, but maybe there is another just as good option that would make my floorplan work better?
