Are odd numbers always best?

I am having the hardest time picking out a light fixture for above my island. My ceilings are low so it limits my options quite a bit. I do like this double pendant and feel it suits the space nicely, but, does it look odd having an even number of pendants?

"Suiting (and fitting the scale of) the space nicely" is what's important. Sometimes 2 in larger sizes, like this has, rather 3 smaller fixtures, can be a neater, less busy, less fussy look. I think that would suit your room from what I see going together there. It's looking nice!

Thank you, rhome! These are the biggest I can get to fit and still light up sufficiently. I definitely prefer something more substantial than 2 or 3 mini pendants.
