remodeling kitchen

In my living room which don't really want to paint again is a soft lime green,very light. I a remodeling my kitchen with white cabinets and a grey granite counter top with various colors in it. And wood color floor. My question is with the living room being in a green color should i stay with greens in the kitchen or could i do gray or khaki color..

I think you can do a gray or khaki. But you'll want to look at the undertones in the gray. You probably don't want a blue gray or a lilac gray. When I was choosing paints, I bought samples, painted pieces of posterboard, and taped them up. If you do this and then put them so the green is in the background, you'll be able to see what works.
