Hi mom2 - Here are two photos that may be more helpful. It looks to be a variegated mosaic (sharp eye). Expect color variation is just lighting. No exact source for this, alas, but believe kit is West coast. Grout color depends on tile. I wouldn't go white in your kitchen and think black would blur definition. If it's a mosaic something in gray would help blend with the green and still give a bit of definition. Lots of opinions here I'm sure once choice is made.
