Opinions on knobs/pulls placement

I know there isn't any set rules about cabinet hardware but I was a little stumped on what to do regarding the trash can pullout cabinet. I plan on using knobs on the cabinet doors & pulls on the drawers. If I use a pull on the trash can pullout which looks like a cabinet door that's okay, right? I'd think a pull would be easier to use than a knob. Or if you keep it uniform and use a knob would the placement be in the center of the railing?

Pull-outs work like a drawer, so I used pulls on my trash and pantry pull-out and on all drawers, knobs on doors.
