What goes around I guess :D. I have decided that I'm not an open shelf person. I LOVE the look but it is totally impractical for my life. I'm just not that organized plus I have 8 German Shepherds and 1 Lancashire Heeler that live in my house, so yuk.
On an interesting note, I am currently trying to choose the colors and finishes for a built in I'm doing in my dining room. I just noticed that the first kitchen is done in one of my choices, grey cabinets, white counter, brass hardware.

Oooh, lots of fun things to look at. Thank you for the links. I love the look of open shelves too, but I know myself too well to pursue that idea. Still love it though.

We used to have a GS. I can only imagine how often you have to vacuum up that fluffy undercoat (that used to float all over my house)... with 8 of them. My hat is off to you!

(I know they are totally worth it, though.)
