I have toffee maple cabinets and need to find counter stools. I already have a set that match my cabinets but they are too big and I want to replace them. They were over $300 each. Any one have any idea on where to get light colored counter stools. I see many with the dark wood. Do you think that would be to dark for my kitchen?

I think the light colored ones look great with your cabs and countertops. You could do a dark one to play off of your ORB light fixtures. They make some that are wrought iron that you could tie in.

Try Cost Plus world market. Our previous stools were maple from there and they held up great!

Personally, I would not replace the stools with wood ones because I think it would be nicer to use a different material for the stools. I think that wrought iron or a material like rattan would look nice.
